How we handle and protect your personal data.

Last updated: 2 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how BatteryCentr ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit batterycentr.com or contact us. We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who we are

BatteryCentr, Lucerne, Switzerland. Contact: contact@batterycentr.com.

2. What data we collect

  • Information you provide via our contact and sourcing forms: name, company, email, phone, location, and the content of your message or enquiry.
  • Technical data collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device and usage data, and cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

3. How and why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiries and provide our services (legal basis: performance of a contract / pre-contractual steps).
  • To operate, secure and improve our website (legal basis: legitimate interests).
  • With your consent, for optional analytics cookies (legal basis: consent).

4. Form submissions & processors

Our forms are processed by Web3Forms, which delivers submissions to us by email. Your data is handled according to their privacy policy. We host this website with Namecheap, Inc.

5. Data retention

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete it. As a rule, enquiries that do not lead to a business relationship are deleted within 24 months; where a business relationship follows, related records are kept for as long as Swiss commercial and tax law requires (generally 10 years).

6. Sharing & international transfers

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (e.g. form and hosting providers) and where required by law. Some providers may process data outside Switzerland/the EEA under appropriate safeguards.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction or deletion of your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email contact@batterycentr.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local EU supervisory authority.
