Sell your used EV batteries

EV packs are the heaviest, most regulated and most valuable batteries you can hold. We take all three problems off your hands.

The situation

A single EV battery pack weighs 300–700 kg, is classified as dangerous goods the moment it leaves the vehicle, and can still hold 70–80% of its original capacity. That combination — bulky, regulated, valuable — is exactly why packs accumulate at scrapyards, dismantling operations and fleet depots: moving them properly is hard, and selling them below value feels wrong.

BatteryCentr buys and collects used EV packs and modules across Europe. We arrange the certified transport that pack-size units require, test and grade each asset for State-of-Health, and route it to the strongest value channel — second-life storage, module-level reuse, repair stock or certified recycling. You get space back, risk gone, and a price backed by measured data instead of scrap-weight guesses.

What we take

Complete EV packs

Full traction batteries from cars and vans — NMC and LFP, healthy, degraded or end-of-life.

Modules & partial packs

Opened packs and module lots from dismantling or repair operations.

Damaged & write-off units

Crash-damaged and unknown-condition packs, assessed individually with appropriate containment.

Why BatteryCentr

Pack-scale logistics solved

EV packs can't ride on standard freight. We arrange ADR-compliant transport with pack-rated packaging, lifting and paperwork — including stricter provisions for damaged units.

Module-level value

A pack that's lost too much capacity for reuse often contains modules that haven't. Because we grade below pack level, value survives even when the pack as a whole doesn't.

A clean answer for write-offs

For insurers and dismantlers, an EV battery on the books is an open liability. A documented handover to a specialised handler closes the file — with value coming back instead of disposal cost.

Common questions

Selling ev batteries: what suppliers ask

Do you pay for used EV batteries?

Yes — value depends on chemistry, condition and State-of-Health, which we measure rather than assume. Damaged or end-of-life packs may net less or carry handling costs, but you'll see the reasoning behind every number.

Can you collect a single pack, or only batches?

Both. One written-off pack from an insurer and a recurring flow from a dismantling line are both normal jobs for us — logistics are scaled to the lot.

The pack is crash-damaged. Is that a problem?

No, but say so up front. Damaged and defective lithium batteries travel under stricter ADR provisions and need special containment, which we bring to the pickup.
